     A diploma winner at the  International Organ Competition in Russia, Marianna Abrahamyan has participated as a pianist and organist in various festivals and recitals in Armenia, Russia, Iran, and the U.S.A.  She appeared as a harpsichord player with the Armenian Conservatory’s Chamber Orchestra performing J.S. Bach’s Fifth Brandenburg Concerto, and in a concert of ancient French Music with famous Armenian cellist Felix Simonyan. In 1993, she won Second Prize in the piano competition at Armenian Music College.  In 2001, Marianna Abrahamyan performed the Armenian premiere of the complete set of J.S. Bach’s Organ Toccatas, dedicated to the 1700th Anniversary of Christian Armenia.

     Marianna Abrahamyan was born in Yerevan, Armenia.  She graduated from Yerevan Conservatory as a pianist and organist, where her teachers were Professor Villi Sargissian (piano), and Professor Vahagn Stamboltsian (organ).  In 2001, she completed her post-graduate course in the same conservatory as an organist.  Currently, she is pursuing her Master of Music Degree in organ performance at North Carolina School of the Arts as a student of Dr. John Mitchener.
